June’s NMRA Meeting

This morning (June 20th) I received an email from the Erie Turntable at Port Jervis asking us to cancel Sunday’s meeting. Since safety of their volunteers and visitors is their top priority, due to the forecasted weather conditions they felt that it would be better if we did not come.

After several phone calls I was able to find an alternative venue. Our June 23rd meeting will now be held at the Gardiner Library (133 Farmer’s Turnpike, Gardiner, NY). Everything else remains the same. The meeting will still start at 11am and the presentation will be on “Modeling Loads in Gondolas”. For those who are unfamiliar with Gardiner, their library borders on the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail that was once part of the Wallkill Valley Railroad’s right-of-way. I look forward to seeing you at the Gardiner Library.
