Introduction to the Northern Division Bridge & Building Department.
The NDB&B Dept. was organized in 1998 by John Taibi, at the urging of Ron Vassallo who asked “If I could write an article or two” for the OWRHS Website he was then building as webmaster. Back then, Ron and I were “learning on the fly” all of the digital ins-and-outs of web posting and – especially – my learning the “ropes” of PDF making. Ron was quite surprised when I sent the first NDB&B Dept. article to him. He had thought I would write about my station at Munns (Munnsville), but I surprised him with “Randallsville.” This article, which follows in an updated form, originally appeared on the Society’s website on June 2, 1998. It has been subsequently followed by 123 other articles and short stories. Ron and I have decided to re-present the NDB&B Dept. articles in updated form since they may not be viewable on the old website as original creations. Frankly, this updated “Randallsville” is visually superior to the original creation. We hope you enjoy this blast from the past!
