Hello O&WRHS Members!
Lot’s of exciting things happened this year and 2022 should be no different.
Several new Series on the website including the most recent by Doug Barberio. Doug started writing for the Society’s “Member’s Only” area at nyow.org/members many years ago and we finally got his juices flowing to write again and I can’t tell you how excited I am. This is actually a “revived series” called “Along The Right Of Way”.
Another “revived series” coming to the site will be Mal Houck’s “Modeling The O&W”. Mal has written over 53 of these articles going back to around 2002! Many of them are in the “Member’s Only” area of the Society’s website at nyow.org/members, but he will be continuing this series on this site as well. To be accurate Mal has written well over 53 articles if you include other articles he has done just for the Newsletter. I am excited he is continuing his series on this site as well. Now to a quick bit of news from our President Jeff Otto:
There will be in-person meetings this year at 7:30 on April 8th and August 5th at the Middletown Senior Center, 62-70 West Main St., Middletown NY, in addition to our Zoom meetings.

This New Article by Dan Myers is going to blow you away. A lot of time, effort and research went into this article as well as help from Master Proofreader Mark Kennaugh. Consider this a late Christmas gift from Dan and the site.
